The 78th meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has officially commenced, focusing on tackling issues of malpractice and irregularities reported during the 2024 examination for school candidates.
According to a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), this meeting is crucial in addressing these concerns.
WAEC has called for patience from affected candidates and the general public, assuring that updates will be provided as decisions are made.
The 2024 WASSCE results were released two months ago, but the committee’s deliberations will play a key role in resolving any irregularities that may have affected the examination process.
