UK Embassy in Nigeria announces changes to visa application centres

The United Kingdom Embassy in Nigeria on Tuesday announced a change in management of its visa application centres, which may affect some applicants.

According to the Embassy, the shift involves a new supplier taking over operations at the centres, which may result in modifications to the locations for submitting and collecting documents.

While the centres in Abuja and Lagos will remain operational, some applicants might need to use alternative locations.

The Embassy, however, noted that affected customers would be contacted directly via email.

“The supplier of our visa application centres in Nigeria is changing. During this transition, some customers may submit and collect their documents from different locations. You will be contacted via email if this affects you,” the Embassy stated in a short message shared on its X (formerly Twitter) account.
