Dr Otuyemi Kayode received the items on behalf of the paediatric department while the assistant director nursing services received for the maternity unit.

The RCCG team, led by wife of the assistant provincial pastor in charge of admin, Lagos Province 28, Pastor Folake Olulade, assisted by Pastor Tunji Adewumi, provincial coordinator for prisons and hospital ministry, also paid a courtesy visit to the chief medical director of the hospital, Dr Babafemi Joseph, who thanked them for the act of benevolence to the patients and the hospital.

According to him, the hospital is set to provide quality health services to Lagosians at affordable rates.

He prayed for more partnership from faith-based organisations and non-governmental organisations alike.

He said the Lagos State government, as owner of the hospital, is doing well in the area of infrastructure upgrades, noting that some projects will be commissioned by February 2024.

Kayode said dialysis and ECG machines are needed by the hospital besides other critical equipment, which will help raise the bar of medical services.

Responding, Olulade thanked the hospital management for creating an enabling environment for the church to visit the facility.

Also, Dr Ayomide Adejuwon, who facilitated the visit, thanked the RCCG team and prayed for more of such visits.
