Former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has arrived at the Ikeja under bridge in Lagos State to lead the EndBadGovernance protest taking place today, Tuesday.
The human rights activist joined a large group of protesters carrying placards and calling for an end to the country’s worsening economic situatio Sowore, one of the organizers of the protest, had planned a nationwide demonstration for October 1, aimed at demanding solutions to the growing economic crisis affecting the nation.
The protest is set to take place across all 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as the country commemorates its 64th Independence Day anniversary.
