Remo Stars regained the top spot in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with a 2-0 away victory over Kano Pillars on Sunday.
At the New Jos Stadium, former champions Plateau United suffered a 2-1 defeat to Niger Tornadoes.
Niger Tornadoes took a 2-0 lead with goals from Ifeanyi Okechukwu and Kufre Ebong, while Pam Samuel scored a consolation goal for the home side.
