Emergency workers and volunteers are scrambling to save trapped persons following the collapse of a school building in Plateau State.
At least 22 persons have been confirmed dead, while several others were injured.
Eyewitnesses said the collapse trapped more than 70 pupils, transforming a peaceful educational environment into a scene of chaos.
The building housing Saints Academy in Busa Buji, Jos North Local Government Area of the state, caved in on students and their teachers on Friday morning.
