The Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (NDPHC) has been mandated to deliver critical intervention projects in Nigeria’s power sector.
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) disclosed this in a post it shared on its official X account on Tuesday morning.
NERC made the disclosure after receiving the new management team of the NDPHC on Monday for a courtesy visit.
“NDPHC has the mandate of delivering critical intervention projects in the Nigerian power sector value chain” the commission wrote.
The NDPHC team was led by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Jennifer Adighije.
The visit aimed to foster stronger partnerships and seek NERC’s support in advancing their shared goals of improving the power sector.
The commission’s Chairman, Sanusi Garba who received the team alongside the Commissioners congratulated the NDPHC management team.
Garba also noted that the commission has an open-door policy as he emphasized its commitment to supporting all credible efforts to ensure reliable electricity access for Nigerians.
