Music mogul Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has officially entered the world of football club ownership. His newly formed team, Supremos FC, is set to compete in the Lagos Liga, Africa’s premier private football league.
Confirming the rumors surrounding his latest venture, the renowned producer and Mavin Records boss explained that launching Supremos FC fulfilled a lifelong passion for talent discovery, especially in football.
“Lagos Liga offers a fantastic platform for me to combine my love for football with my dedication to nurturing young talent,” Don Jazzy shared in a statement to BusinessDay.
Supremos FC will be competing against other teams in the league for the coveted prize of N50 million, the highest per-game financial reward in Nigerian football history.
