Ludo, a popular leisure game enjoyed in households around the world, is making a grand entrance into Nigeria’s sporting scene as a lucrative pastime.
For the first time in the country’s history, a Ludo championship will be held on December 14 in Lagos, with an impressive prize pool of N2.5 million.Organized by TRS Promotions, the competition will gather Ludo enthusiasts from across Lagos State and its surroundings to display their skills, strategies, and competitive spirit.
“This event promises to elevate the game of Ludo to new heights,” said Tunde Amosun, General Manager of TRS.The champion will walk away with N1 million, while the second and third-place winners will receive N750,000 and N500,000, respectively.
The journey to becoming the Ludo champion begins with preliminary rounds from November 1 to 30 across various local government areas in Lagos. Players are encouraged to register early with a fee of N1,000 to secure their spots for this exciting competition.
