The Lagos State Government has announced that traffic will be diverted from Osborne/ Dolphin Estate to Sura en route to the Adeniji Adele Link Bridge for asphalt pavement of the road.
The state commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, made the announcement in a statement on Saturday.
Osiyemi disclosed that the traffic will be diverted from 12.00am tonight, Saturday, July 27th, to 5.00am on Monday, July 29th, 2024.
He added that consequently, motorists are advised to use the following alternative routes;
Motorists from Osborne/Dolphin Estate are advised to connect Sura Link Bridge to Adeniji Adele to access the 3rd Mainland Bridge to continue with their journeys
Motorists from the State House at Marina are to connect Obalende to link Simpson Bridge inward Sura to access Adeniji Adele to link the 3rd Mainland Bridge for their desired destinations
The Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, assured that the State Traffic Management Personnel will be on the ground to manage vehicular movement and reduce inconveniences.
The commissioner, however, implored motorists to be patient and adhere to the direction of movements by the traffic management personnel.
