Kano Government Launches New Charges Against Ex-Governor Ganduje

On Tuesday, the Kano Government leveled new accusations against former governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.

In a dramatic legal move under case No. K/143c/24, the state government charged Ganduje and former Commissioner for Justice, Musa Lawan, with criminal conspiracy and gross misappropriation, offenses that starkly violate Section 308 and are punishable under Section 309 of the Penal Code, CAP 105, Vol. 2, Laws of Kano State of Nigeria.

The state government declared that this offense is a serious violation, punishable under the stringent provisions of Sections 97 and 315.

The state government fiercely condemned Ganduje and Lawan for grossly abusing their positions of power.

The charge sheet revealed that the state government plans to bring forward four compelling witnesses.
