President Bola Tinubu has stated that the economic challenges facing Nigerians are not unique to the country, but part of a global issue.
In his nationwide address marking the 2024 Independence Day anniversary, he acknowledged that the primary concern for Nigerians is the rising cost of living, particularly food prices.
“This concern is shared globally, as the cost of living and prices continue to rise worldwide,” the president said.
Despite this, President Tinubu reassured Nigerians of his administration’s efforts to ease the hardship.
“Rest assured, we are implementing various measures to lower the cost of living here at home,” he added.In response to the ongoing economic difficulties, Nigerian youths are planning a nationwide protest to voice their concerns about hunger and other pressing economic issues.
