Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has described Victor Osimhen’s move from Napoli to Galatasaray as “crazy.
“The news of Osimhen’s one-year loan deal with the Turkish club was first reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on social media. Gundogan, who has Turkish heritage, reacted to the transfer with a simple comment: “wow… crazy.
“Osimhen is expected to finalize a one-year loan agreement with Galatasaray, which includes a break clause in January.
This clause allows the Super Eagles striker to transfer to another club if Galatasaray receives an acceptable offer.
Gundogan, who returned to Manchester City as a free agent this summer after a brief stint at Barcelona, expressed his surprise at the transfer.
