The Federal Government has begun distributing subsidized milled rice to address the current food shortage in the nation.
On Thursday, Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, introduced the sale in Abuja.
The rice, priced at N40,000 per bag, will be available with a restriction of one bag per individual.
The event on Thursday was aimed at government employees.
