Nigerian singer Eedris Abdulkareem has raised questions about Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka’s silence on President Bola Tinubu’s administration despite the current hardship in the country. He suggested that Soyinka’s personal relationship with the president may be the reason for his silence.
Soyinka, known for criticizing past administrations, had earlier said it was “too early” to judge President Tinubu’s administration and promised to assess it after a year in office.
