Court to continue Nnamdi Kanu’s trial today

The trial of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is expected to resume today, Tuesday, at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Kanu, who was rearrested and repatriated from Kenya in 2021, has been on trial facing terrorism-related charges brought by the Nigerian government.

A notice from his lead counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, reads: “PUBLIC NOTICE: As previously scheduled, the hearing of MAZI NNAMDI KANU’s case will take place TODAY (24th Sept) at 10 AM, instead of the earlier time of 12 noon.

The venue remains the Federal High Court, Abuja, and as always, #MNK will be in attendance. This hearing is of great importance.”
