The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is planning to launch an Under-19 Champions League, following UEFA’s lead, Wavenewsng can exclusively report.
Reports from CAF’s headquarters in Cairo reveal that the competition department is keen to introduce this youth tournament in the near future.
While CAF already organizes tournaments for age-grade national teams, there is currently no such competition for youth club teams.
The details regarding the structure of the tournament and the criteria for club participation have yet to be finalized.
