Qualifying teams will advance to the second round, with first leg matches set for September 13-15 and return legs on September 20-22.
Notably, top-ranked clubs like Al Ahly SC (Egypt), Esperance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), and Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) are exempt from the first preliminary round of the Champions League. Similarly, the top 12 ranked clubs in the CAF Confederation Cup, including holders Zamalek SC, will bypass the first preliminary round.
