The Super Eagles of Nigeria have departed for Kigali in preparation for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda’s Amavubi, scheduled for Tuesday.
The team, along with their officials, departed from Victor Attah Airport in Uyo on Sunday afternoon.
They are set to hold two training sessions in Kigali ahead of the crucial encounter.Nigeria began their qualifying campaign with a commanding 3-0 win over the Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Saturday.
The three-time African champions will take on the Amavubi at Kigali’s Amahoro Stadium.Rwanda recently secured a 1-1 draw against Libya’s Mediterranean Knights.
