Sani and Murray-Bruce Pay Tribute to Late Politician Ifeanyi Ubah

Former Senators Shehu Sani of Kaduna North and Ben Murray-Bruce of Bayelsa Central have conveyed their sorrow over the passing of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South.

Ubah, the former CEO of Capital Oil, passed away in a London hotel on Saturday.

The deceased legislator, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, was 52 years old.

In a post on his X account on Saturday, Sani remembered Ubah as a successful entrepreneur and a prominent supporter of football in Nigeria.

He tweeted, “I received the sad news of the demise of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South. The nation has lost a great politician, an accomplished businessman and an outstanding promoter of Football. May his soul rest in peace. Ameen.”

In a post on X, Murray-Bruce noted that Ubah’s impact on the country’s oil industry and his public service will be cherished.

The former legislator also expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the family and close friends of the deceased Anambra senator.

He tweeted, “With a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. His contributions to our nation, both in the oil sector and public service, will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength during this difficult time.”
