The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 inaugurated the Power Sector Communication Team (PSCT).
According to the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), the team consists of heads of Communication Departments and Units from the agencies under the ministry to bridge the communication gap in the power sector.
“The essence of the PSCT was to give stakeholders the platform to collaborate and partner in providing reliable and accurate information about the power sector to external stakeholders,” NERC explained.
According to the statement, Adelabu charged the team to come up with consistent, truthful and insightful communication that will be trustworthy and reliable in order to effectively improve customer service and inform the public on the activities in the power sector.
