Troops have eliminated five terrorists in Borno State

Troops of the Nigerian Army have reportedly eliminated five terrorists in Sambisa Forest in Borno State.

Security analysis and counter insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama disclosed this on Monday night in a post on his X account.

“The troops of 7 Division and Sector 1, Operation Hadin Kai in conjunction with Hybrid Force and CJTF, neutralized five Boko Haram terrorists in Sambisa Forest in Borno State,” Makama said.

“The feat was recorded on Monday August 12, 2024, during a fighting patrol to terrorist enclaves.

“The patrol took place at Kashomiri, Sharori, Kalmari and Mantari villages in Geizuwa terror cluster, Bama Local Government Area (LGA), Borno State.”

Makama stated that the operation resulted in the neutralization of five terrorists while others fled.

The security expert said the troops recovered three dane guns and six motorcycles which are currently in their custody for further action.
