The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (Oyo SUBEB) has announced the interview dates for applicants.
The Oyo State Government fixed the interview dates on Tuesday in a public service announcement on its X account.
“The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (Oyo SUBEB) has fixed Wednesday, 14 August till Monday, 26 August, 2024 at 9 am each day as interview dates for applicants at the Oyo SUBEB Headquarters at Agodi, Ibadan,” the statement read.
“The interview dates are as follows: Wednesday, 14 August: Egbeda and Atisbo Local Government Areas (LGAs).
“Thursday, 15 August: Akinyele, Afijio, and Ibarapa Central LGAs. Friday, 16 August: Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, Ibarapa East, Ibarapa North, Lagelu and Iwajowa LGAs.
“Monday, 19 August: Ido and Ibadan South West LGAs. Wednesday, 21 August: Atiba, Oyo East, Oyo West, Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa LGAs.
“Thursday, 22 August: Ibadan South-East, Ibadan North, Ibadan North-East and Ibadan North-West LGAs. Friday, 23 August: Oluyole and Ona Ara LGAs.
“Monday, 26 August, Saki West, Saki East, Irepo, Oriire, Olorunsogo, Orelope, Ogbomoso North and Ogbomoso South LGAs.”
A statement by the Oyo SUBEB Chairman, Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran revealed that out of 45,827 applicants who sat for the CBT examination, only 8,197 met the 50% cut-off mark.
Dr. Adeniran urged all candidates to come with print-outs of their application slip, CBT result slip and interview schedule slip.
The OYOSUBEB boss said all candidates also need to bring the relevant credentials they uploaded on the job portal.
These are evidence of local government of origin, local government of residency, date of birth certificate and National Identification Number (NIN) certificate.
Others are original certificates from their institutions, original NYSC certificate (for graduates), change of name for married women and other relevant documents.
Adeniran further advised all candidates to log into their portal to ascertain their scheduled dates of interview.
