The Adamawa State Government has launched new intra and intercity buses to ease transportation challenges.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri announced this in a post he shared on his verified X account on Thursday night.
“Today, we took a giant step towards easing the transportation challenges faced by our students and residents with the launch of 31 new intra and intercity buses,” Fintiri said.
“This initiative reaffirms our commitment to improving the quality of life in Adamawa.
“We remain dedicated to crafting solutions that alleviate hardship and build resilience in these tough times.”
Fintiri also announced that the Adamawa State Government has flagged off the women empowerment grants.
“Today, I had the honour of flagging off the 2nd edition of the 10,000 Women Empowerment Grants through the Fintiri Business Wallet in Adamawa State,” he said.
“With this initiative, we are empowering thousands of women with the means to start or expand their businesses, fostering prosperity within our communities.
“Our commitment to poverty alleviation and economic growth remains unwavering.”
