Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington has revealed that she and her husband, musician Bankole Wellington—better known as Banky W—are anticipating the arrival of their second child.

According to PUNCH Online, the couple tied the knot in 2017 and welcomed their first child, Zaiah, in 2021.

On Monday, the actress took to her Instagram to share the wonderful news with her followers, showcasing beautiful images from her maternity photoshoot.

In the pictures, Adesua appeared radiant in a vibrant orange hooded dress, tenderly holding her baby bump as she celebrated this special occasion with her fans.

Expressing her happiness, she wrote, “First, we had each other, then we had your brother, then God sent you and now? NOW, we have everything.

Reacting to the announcement in the comment section, Banky W wrote, “May our lives forever be a series of indisputable evidence and unquestionable proof that Jesus is alive and that He answers prayers. Thank you, God. #SeeWhatTheLordHasDone.”

When searching for “Ice Prince” on Google, users have noticed that instead of Ice Prince, Nigerian artist Portable’s profile is showing up in some cases.

This mix-up has sparked a wave of humorous reactions online.

One user joked, “Ice Prince, don sell him Google profile to Portable,” while another added, “Portable now answer Ice Prince, nothing hard for God to do.”

Fans are baffled, with one asking, “Where did Ice Prince go?” Some even speculated that the Google algorithm might be responsible for the mix-up, perhaps due to Portable’s recent public praise of Ice Prince.

Interestingly, this comes shortly after a video of Portable praising Ice Prince at the airport went viral.

In a video shared by Portable’s aide on Instagram, the Zazu crooner was seen embracing the veteran rapper before showering him with praises.

Portable expressed his admiration for Ice Prince, noting his loyalty and contributions to the Nigerian music industry. He acknowledged Ice Prince’s role in paving the way for other artistes like him and hailed him as the “number one.”

Portable, born Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, took the music industry by storm with his unique style and catchy lyrics of “Zazu Zeh” from the late 2021 to early 2022. The song featured Olamide Baddo and Poco Lee.

A woman has claimed that she had nightly romps with a ghost ‘with fangs and the face of a gargoyle’ for over 20 years.

Paola Flórez, from Colombia, said her relationship with the spirit started when she was young – and that the frisky ghoul visited her every night while she slept.

She made the claims on the TV show Sin Carreta, which broadcasts on the state-owned channel Canal 1. 

‘From that moment on, he started coming to me like a spirit to have sex with me.’

Paula considered herself a loving partner to her ghostly lover for 20 years – until she eventually saw his face.

She explained: ‘He was a very big man. But the day I caught a glimpse of him, he had fangs and the face of a gargoyle’.

After seeing the ghoul’s scary looks, she stated that she did not want any further contact with him because he frightened her.

However, parapsychologist Jairo Urbex believes her account is credible, adding that she was probably in a relationship with an ‘incubus’.

Urbex explained: ‘An incubus is a demonic entity, it is a lower-astral entity and we describe all those that look like maggots as “low-vibrational”.’

He added: ‘They specialise in grabbing people and taking their energy.’ 

People were complexed and one local commented: ‘It must have been a satanic spirit’ while another wrote: ‘I’ve also fallen in love with a couple of ghosts, hahaha.’ 

A woman named Stella said: ‘People are getting crazier’, while Eduardo joked: ‘Tell her it was a neighbour with a sheet with holes’.

Another local Pablo quipped: ‘That spirit was no saint’.

Kellyrae of the former Doubleday duo in the Big Brother Naija “No Loose Guard” season has emerged as the winner of the show.

He was announced the winner by the host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during the grand finale of the show on Sunday night in Lagos.

The winner was presented with a N60 million cash prize and a new SUV.

Kellyrae, a 33-year-old professional singer from Delta, came into the show with his wife, Kassia, who is a graduate of Delta State University.

The eight housemates who made it to the finals are Kellyrae, Sooj, Anita, Nelly, Onyeka, Wanni, Victoria, and Ozee.

Sooj, the first finalist to be evicted, said “I am thankful for the journey so far, I feel like a winner and a champion regardless of the situation; I am coming for any and everything; I’m taking the world by storm.”

This was followed by Anita, a model, who expressed her desire to be engaged on the international runway.

She said, “I am excited and grateful right now, I wanted to win the prize but I am here till the last day; I am happy. I will be taking my modelling business to the next level.”

Ozee said: “It’s not about the final winner but the fact that I made it to the end. This platform is like a social experiment where I have learnt about myself. I have a lot am working on. Just look out for me, this is just the beginning.”

Nelly, who got auditioned nine times before her final success to the show, said, “I am very happy. I will be growing my restaurant brand. You people should expect something big. I can’t wait to work with all the brands that love me.”

Victoria, the fifth finalist to leave the house, said she would be going back to her business as a travel consultant and would remain open to more collaborations from brands.

For Onyeka, she spoke on her interest in singing, dancing, acting and directing.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the reality television show began on July 28 with 28 housemates.

The show witnessed lots of twists, drama, controversies, steeze and romance, as the housemates came in pairs of 14.

In a particularly disturbing twist, Jeremiah then contacted her parents, demanding a ransom under the pretence that she had been kidnapped, using the money for his ritualistic pursuits. This case underscores how modern technology, such as social media platforms like TikTok, has made it easier for criminals to connect with and exploit individuals.

Ritual killings, often associated with the Yahoo Boys phenomenon, have taken a distressing turn, with an alarming rise in such cases in recent years. Some prominent examples include:

• Mojisola Awesu, a 21-year-old graduate of the Kwara State College of Health Technology, who was lured to a hotel under the guise of attending a party and murdered by four men. Her death, for a meager sum of N15,000, was another chilling reminder of the lengths to which some criminals will go for ritual purposes.
• In Ibadan, Oyo State, a middle-aged man, Alfa Ahmed, brutally murdered his visually impaired grandfather and ill uncle in a ritual killing intended to bring him wealth.
• Ridwan, a 20-year-old man from Ogun State, made headlines in 2023 for killing his own father as part of a ritual designed to bring financial success.

These cases, among many others, paint a disturbing picture of a society grappling with a dangerous mix of modern technology and ancient, superstitious beliefs.

Gender Imbalance and Vulnerable Victims

A particularly troubling aspect of this trend is the overwhelming number of female victims in ritual killings. Women and girls are often targeted, with civil society groups and local media reporting an increasing threat to their safety.

Statistics from the West African Network for Peace Building reveal that between January 2021 and January 2022, Nigeria recorded 185 ritual-related deaths. Of these, 43 were women and 30 were children, highlighting the disproportionate vulnerability of women to these crimes.
